The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Corporation KSHC Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu, has directed staff to strictly follow Governor Abba Yusuf’s directives on illegal land allocations in urban and metropolitan areas.
Rabiu emphasized the need for due process and warned against land racketeering.

The Managing Director made the announcement during a meeting with the corporation’s directors, shortly after relocating to the new office at Kwankwasiyya City.
According to him, the purpose of the meeting was to further educate staff and review the existing laws and policies governing the housing corporation, ensuring that operations align with established rules and regulations.
Alh Abdullahi Rabiu further emphasized the need for strict adherancw to due process and ensuring that all staff should desist from engaging themselves in any land racketeering.

“You recall Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has enacted an executive order prohibiting the allocation of land for curve-outs or corner shops under any guise, aiming to curb illegal land allocations and protect public spaces”.
The managing director pointed out that Kano State Government is committed to upholding the rule of law and protecting the interests of its citizens.
“This initiative demonstrates the government’s determination to promote good governance and accountability in the management of public resources”
He then commended staff and management of the cooperation for their support to the present administration and urged them to maintain the tempo towards achieving the organizational goals.
