The Jigawa State Government has announced Monday, January 6, 2025, as the resumption date for public and private schools across the state.
According to a statement issued by the State Commissioner for Higher Education, Science and Technology, Professor Isa Yusuf Chamo, the resumption marks the beginning of the 2024/2025 second term academic session.
KNSG Sets Resumption Dates for Primary, Post-Primary Schools
Boarding students are expected to return to school on Sunday, January 5, while day students will resume on Monday, January 6.
Teachers have also been directed to report to their schools on the resumption day to ensure the immediate commencement of lessons.
Professor Chamo appealed to parents to send their children back to school on the resumption day, assuring that the ministry has provided all necessary teaching aids to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
