Kano state house of assembly has urged the good people of Kano state to disregard a report by certain group of people that the Assembly has not reopened for a plenary session over security and emirate tussle issues.
In a statement signed and issued by the spokesperson to the speaker Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai.
The statement explained that, to set the record straight, the Kano Assembly, under the lead of AAlhaji Jibril Ismail Falgore, called on Kano State to disregard the rumours and fake news.
“The purported fear of attacks and delay in resuming the plenary session are nothing but the works of mischievous elements within society”
“In this regard, the Kano State House of Assembly will resume the plenary session very soon”

While reiterating its unwavering commitment to working with the government of His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf for his consistent delivery of good governance and development in Kano State.
The statement urges citizens to keep praying for peace and unity, irrespective of religious and ethnic differences, for the betterment of Kano State.
