Kano Pillars FC has issued a statement dismissing allegations made by a Kano-based radio station that the club owes its Technical Adviser, Usman Abdallah, three months’ salary. The club described the claim as misleading and lacking factual basis.

According to the club, Usman Abdallah was officially appointed as Technical Adviser on August 6, 2024. As of the statement’s release, Abdallah has only been with the club for two months, rendering the three-month delay claim impossible.

Kano Pillars FC prides itself on its history of prompt payments to players, technical staff, and employees. The Kano State Government oversees payroll, integrating payments into the state’s payroll system alongside other state employees.

The club explained that newly appointed staff, including Abdallah, are undergoing data capturing for salary processing. This standard procedure ensures seamless payment integration.

The club expressed disappointment that a reputable media outlet would disseminate such misinformation without verifying facts. Despite this, Kano Pillars FC remains committed to performing well in the 2024/25 season.

The club appreciated the continued support of the Kano state government under His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf and urged fans and stakeholders to verify information from reliable sources.
