The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has distributed relief materials to communities affected by floods in Bagwai and Shanono Federal Constituency, Kano State.
The exercise, conducted by the NEMA Kano Office, aimed to assist the affected population and ensure the judicious use of the relief items.

The relief materials included both food and non-food items, designed to cushion the effects of the disaster.
The Director-General of NEMA, Hajiya Zubaida Umar represented by the Kano coordinator Kano Jigawa territorial officer, expressed deep concern over the unfortunate incidents and reiterated that the relief materials were not compensation for losses but rather a demonstration of the Federal Government’s assistance.
