The vice chancellor Northwest University Kano,Professor Mukhtar Atiku has Inaugurated the alumni association of the institute.
In a ceremony held at Northwest University city campus, the alumni were urged to uphold the good reputation of their alma mater to attract meaningful opportunities.

In his acceptance speech President of the Northwest Alumni Association Abba Salisu Muhammad, noted that alumni offer career guidance, mentorship, and networking opportunities to current students and recent graduates.
Abba emphasized the pivotal role Alumni Associations play in the lives of members, the development of educational institutions, for the betterment of society.
He noted that, as the pioneer members of the alumni association they will work hard to bridge communication gap to achieve the set objectives.

The vice chancellor Northwest University Kano Professor Atiku Kurawa described the Alumni association as an important organ of the institution.
He maintained that, the university will provide all the necessary support to achieve the desired objectives.
Professor Atiku noted that, the law setting up the institute reserves a chair for alumni association on the council of the university.
The vice chancellor urged the alumni to strategize and come up with a formidable structure to utilize the opportunity to occupy the chair in the council.
Professor Atiku stated that hard work, dedication ,commitment and sacrifice are major catalysts to the development of the alumni association.
“From 2025 the university will organize matriculation annually, Northwest has been working hard to uplift the university to global standard through establishment of new programs”
Paradigm News reports that, the launching of the alumni association was attended by the former vice chancellor Professor Mustapha, academicians, top government functionaries, students among others.
