The Group of Six (G6) elites of Feferuwa in Nasarawa State organized a town hall meeting with stakeholders to foster unity and socio-economic development.
The meeting was attended by the newly appointed Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, Barr. Mohammed Alkali, as well as Mr. Mohammed I. Lukumbogo, the immediate past Provost of FAMSAT Keffi.

Others in attendance included Hon. Ismaila A. Ari, Mr. Abokinliman Y. Isah, and Adamu Salihu Eggapu, among others.
During the event, Hon. Alkali emphasized the importance of promoting education, particularly girls’ education in the village.
He urged parents, especially mothers, to ensure that their daughters have equal educational opportunities as their male counterparts, rather than being married off at an early age.

He further encouraged parents to enroll their children in primary schools.
OtHer speakers reinforced the need for unity and progress, devoid of any religious or ethnic sentiments.
G6 also explained how it restructured the Feferuwa Youth Development Association (FYDA) to enhance effectiveness, unity, and progress.
The restructuring is aimed at getting equal representation of all the branches at the central level for better coordination.
The Hakimin Feferuwa and other traditional leaders commended G6 for the initiative and pledged to support the push for education by encouraging parents to enrol their children in school.
