The College of Allied Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kaduna State University KASU, held an orientation programme for newly admitted students of the 2024/2025 academic session.
The event took place at the 500-seater lecture theatre.
In his address, the Provost of the College, Prof. J.A. Onaolapo, urged the students to put their best foot forward in both academic and social pursuits.

He reminded them to be exemplary ambassadors of the College on campus and encouraged them to take full advantage of the numerous opportunities available at the University.
Also speaking at the event, the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, Dr. A. Danbaba, advised the students to explore available student loan schemes as a means of easing the financial burden of obtaining quality education at KASU.

In his closing remarks, the Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Drug Development, Dr. I. Uwaisu, expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of KASU for his continued support of the College’s growth and development.
He encouraged the students to build positive relationships with both staff and fellow students to enrich their university experience and broaden their horizons. Dr. Uwaisu thanked the students for their participation and wished them success in their academic journey.
