The proprietor of Junior Dan Buram (JDB) Football Club of Daura, Katsina state, Alhaji Daha Umar Faruk, has expressed optimism that his team will emerge victorious at the end of the ongoing 3rd edition of the Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima soccer competition.

He was speaking shortly after his team beat Sheshe FC 2-1 to secure a place in the quarter-final stage played at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata.
Alhaji Daha Umar Faruk, who was also the District Head of Baure, described the performance of his players and the victory recorded in the match as commendable.

He said that now that the team has qualified for the knock out stage of the tournament, all hands must be on desk to ensure its subsequent success.
