In a significant step toward improving health care delivery, Gwarzo Local Government has procured three state-of-the-art ultrasound scanning machines and a comprehensive range of medical consumables.
In his remarks while flagging off the distribution of the items, Interim Committee Chairman of the council, Dr. Mani Tsoho, explained that, the significant investment aims to elevate the quality of maternal healthcare across the area.
“These ultrasound machines will be distributed to Getso, Lakwaya, and Kutama healthcare centers.”enters within the local government area.’
He pointed out that, the equipment will enable early detection and monitoring of maternal and fetal health conditions, contributing to safer pregnancies and improved outcomes for mothers and their babies’.

The chairman stressed that, in addition to the ultrasound machines, a variety of essential medical consumables were also distributed.

Speaking at the occasion primary healthcare coordinator Abdullahi Datti Rogo stated that the council remains committed to improving healthcare infrastructure and services.

Abdullahi Datti Rogo highlighted that the free drugs were essential for treatment of various ailments as typhoid fever, ulcer, diabetes among others.
