The North-West Development Commission (NWDC) Board, led by Chairman Alhaji Lawal Sama’ila Abdullahi and Managing Director/CEO Prof. Shehu Abdullahi Ma’aji, concluded its strategic engagement tour with a courtesy visit to Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani.
The tour aimed to foster collaboration with state governments and accelerate inclusive development across the North-West region.
During the visit, the NWDC leadership reaffirmed its commitment to bridging developmental gaps and promoting prosperity.
They outlined priority areas, including agriculture, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and infrastructure development, and pledged to work closely with state governments to drive progress.
Governor Sani welcomed the NWDC leadership, expressing confidence in the Commission’s vision and capacity to drive regional development.
He pledged Kaduna State’s full support and advised the Commission to conduct thorough needs assessments through town hall meetings and direct engagement with state leadership.
The Governor also provided the Commission with office accommodation and a utility vehicle to facilitate its operations.
With this visit, the NWDC has concluded its inaugural tour of all seven member states, paving the way for the full implementation of its strategic plans to uplift communities and unlock the region’s potential.
