A coalition of APC groups in Kano namely “APC kadangaren Bakin Tulu and “APC ‘yan Takwas has submitted a formal request to the Acting national chairman of the party Alhaji Ali Bukar Dalori asking him to dissolve Abdullahi Abbas-led APC leadership in Kano State.
In the letter, the coalition accused Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas of dictatorship in running the affairs of the party in Kano, urging the national chairman to act urgently.

Submitting the request on behalf of the group during a visit to the APC Headquarters in Abuja, Nura Na’annabi said, they took the decision to save the party from another defeat in the 2027 elections.
He said Abdullahi Abbas’ statement of dictatorship has contributed to Athe PC’s failure and defeat in the 2023 elections in Kano.
“Abdullahi Abbas played a role which led to the APC defeat in the 2023 gubernatorial election, We are calling on you to act to avoid a repeat of the problems in 2027”

It could be recalled that the said group has issued an ultimatum to the APC chairman in Kano for him to resign honourably or face legal action.
