The Department of Estate Management, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Kaduna State University (KASU), Kafanchan Campus, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of the university at the main campus to present the trophy won at the National Quest Competition organized by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).
The team, led by Dr. Ayodele Ibuoye (Head of Department), ESV Wahab Babatunde (Staff Adviser), and student representatives Maiyaki Isaiah I.K. and Oglekwu Augustine Oche, was warmly received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa.
Prof. Musa commended the team’s outstanding achievement, describing it as a significant milestone for the university. He pledged continued support to the department and awarded ₦50,000 each to the participating students, encouraging them to aim even higher in future competitions.
Dr. Ibuoye and ESV Babatunde expressed their gratitude for the Vice Chancellor’s support and praised the university’s commitment to excellence. They highlighted the department’s consistent track record of success, including three consecutive zonal wins and a second-place national finish.
The National Quest Competition is an annual event organized by NIESV that challenges tertiary institutions across Nigeria on estate management knowledge and skills. KASU’s victory reinforces its reputation as a leading center of excellence in estate management education.
