Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has reshuffled his cabinet as part of efforts to optimize performance and achieve the administration’s ‘Building Your Future’ agenda.
The changes, announced in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, include the appointment of Alhaji Malik Anas as the new Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning

Anas, a seasoned administrator with a Master’s in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano, is expected to bring his expertise to bear in aligning the ministry’s objectives with the administration’s agenda.
Other changes include the redeployment of commissioners to different ministries. Alhaji Bello Kagara, former Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Finance.
Alhaji Bashir Tanimu, ex-Finance Commissioner, will now oversee the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. Alhaji Yusuf Rabi’u-Jirdede has been moved from the Ministry of Special Duties to the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Investment.

In addition, Alhaji Adnan Nahabu will now head the Ministry of Special Duties, having been redeployed from the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Investment.
