The Kano State Police Command, led by CP Salman Dogo Garba, has congratulated the people of Kano State on the upcoming 2024 Maukibi Celebration, scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024.
This event is expected to attract visitors from within and outside the country.
According to SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, ANIPR, MNISMA, Police Public Relations Officer,
“The Command wishes to assure the public of its readiness to provide adequate security before, during, and after the celebration. We have deployed sufficient personnel and resources to ensure a hitch-free event.”
The Police Command has warned against immoral behaviors, such as carrying dangerous weapons, dealing in illicit drugs, and other deviant activities that do not align with the State’s cultural heritage.
Anyone found engaging in such activities will face the full wrath of the law.
To ensure public safety, the Command has put in place robust security measures, including strategic deployments and surveillance.
