Interestingly, the Kofar Wambai Cow Milk Market in Kano sells over two million litres of milk daily, with transactions amounting to around N200 million.

The KSA”P, supported by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), has been working on various projects, including the construction of Milk Collection Centres.
Each centre will be equipped with a 550-litre milk storage tank, solar-powered borehole, toilet facilities, solar lighting, and an office .
The project aims to promote inclusive economic growth in Kano State, focusing on agro-pastoral development .
The KSADP has already made significant interventions, including providing roofing, interlocking, and a cold room for the Kofar Wambai Cow Milk Market.
