Held annually, the AHIS is the continent’s largest housing and construction event, drawing thousands of stakeholders from across Africa and beyond, including developers, architects, policymakers, and investors.

“Our vision is to transform everyday spaces into extraordinary experiences,” said Dr. Lami Ahmed, the sole representative of Utopia Bath and Kitchen in Nigeria.

“Being recognised as the top exhibitor at AIHS is a reflection of our commitment to excellence, innovation, and meeting the evolving needs of our customers.”

Amina Muhammed, the General Manager of Utopia Bath and Kitchen, Nigeria said the brand was so excited to be exhibiting at this year’s AHIS, adding that visitors to Utopia’s booth were sure to have an unforgettable experience.

“Whether you are a developer, interior designer, or a homeowner, Utopia Bath and Kitchen offers you innovative designs that will help transform your space.

“Visitors to our booth are sure to experience the blend of quality and affordable luxury” she said.

Mobin Mohammed, Utopia’s Business Development Manager, urged customers to visit the company’s showroom at Wildot Plaza, plot 903, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Utako District, Abuja.

He noted that Utopia Bath and Kitchen is a leading manufacturer of complete bathroom solutions, with its entire range manufactured under the strict norms of WRAS of the UK, and a comprehensive guarantee provided on all its products.

“Thanks to Dr Lami Ahmed, who brought the brand into Nigeria in 2022, this has been our first franchise showroom, and right now, we are building about three other showrooms in the country in Enugu, Port Harcourt and Lagos.

“We offer a lifetime warranty on our products. For instance, on the ceramics, we offer 25 25-year warranty and on the tapware, we offer 12 12-year warranty,” he said.

Industry experts praised Utopia’s products for their elegant design, durability, and eco-conscious features.

Joy Sani, CEO of Joytivity Studio and an interior designer said the Utopia Bath and Kitchen brand was

“I personally like to go with brands like this when it comes to bathroom fittings because you are sure that it is a brand you can trust.

“If you are buying from the open market, you can’t really trust consistency. For instance, when you buy the plumbing fittings, it’s not just about the aesthetics.

“You have esthetic products like these that are three times cheaper, but when it comes to flushing systems, that is when you will know how good and qualitative the Utopia Bath and Kitchen brand really is.

“Some of the other products in the open market always tend to wear off and change colour over time, but when you go with a brand such as Utopia, which I have personally used before and can trust, then you will always want to stick with it.

“It’s also very easy to trust them when embarking on hotel projects; you can do a sample room with the Utopia brand to show your clients.

“Yes, their products might be more expensive than the open market, but you can rest assured that you are buying quality.

“I don’t think things like plumbing are where you should gamble or try to play ‘penny-wise pound-foolish’ with, especially when it comes to basic products like these.

“You can try to save money on products like railwater shower and the likes, but when it comes to flushing systems, you want to go with concealed, which is very good because you don’t want to be doing maintenance all the time.

“So, I personally feel one should go for something worth it, and a brand like Utopia will be a better choice, and interestingly, they are also based here in Nigeria,” she said.

David Chukwuemeka, one of the visitors at the exhibition who visited the Utopia Booth expressed delight at …

“I stopped over at the Utopia Bath and Kitchen booth and was wowed and blown away by some of the quality of products I saw here at the AHIS Exhibition.

“I was particularly impressed with the 12-year warranty period on the products, which goes to show you that the materials and fittings we have seen here have met the necessary standards and requirements that we expect from such reputable manufacturers.

“I am definitely looking forward to visiting their showroom in Utako to buy some of their products,” he said.

The company’s use of locally sourced materials and focus on energy efficiency also earned commendations from environmental advocates at the event.

In addition to product displays, Utopia Bath and Kitchen hosted workshops and panel sessions on trends in home design and sustainable architecture, further reinforcing its role as a thought leader in the industry.

As Africa’s housing sector continues to grow, Utopia Bath and Kitchen is positioning itself as a key player in redefining residential and commercial spaces across the continent.
