The Kano State government KNSG has taken a significant step towards strengthening healthcare delivery in the state.
A 3-day workshop was organized by the Ministry of Health to review the law that established the Drug and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA)
The workshop, which took place from November 16 to 18, 2024, aimed to renew the DMCSA’s legal framework and align it with current global trends in healthcare supply chain management.
The Commissioner of the Ministry of Health expressed the state government’s determination to make policies that will enhance the health sector, and the Chairman House Committee on Health assured speedy consideration of the DMCSA Law review.
The workshop was attended by relevant stakeholders, including heads of agencies, private consultants, academia, and legal luminaries.
This initiative demonstrates the state government’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery and ensuring access to quality healthcare services for its citizens
