The Kano State Head of Service, HoS Abdullahi Musa, has re-emphasized the state government’s steadfast commitment to prioritizing programs aimed at empowering women and youth.
He said this commitment underscores the government’s acknowledgement of the crucial contributions these groups make to the state’s socioeconomic advancement.
The Head of Service, made the remarks while addressing members of the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) during a courtesy visit to his office yesterday.
He expressed satisfaction with the laudable programs initiated by the Kano State Government aimed at improving the socioeconomic status of women in the state.
He urged the council (NCWS) to complement the government’s efforts by introducing development programs that promote women’s empowerment and provide tangible benefits to women in the state.
Additionally, the Permanent Secretary, Establishment, Umar Muhammad Jalo, emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy.
He encouraged the (NCWS) to foster strategic partnerships with similar organizations and sister agencies to amplify their impact and drive meaningful progress.
Earlier, the chairperson of the council Hajiya Gambo Abdullahi (Uwar Marayu), explained that the purpose of their visit was to pay homage to the Head of Service, to shed more light on the activities and initiatives of the council and to seek further guidance and support from the Office of the Head of Service.
