Farmtrac Nigeria Limited, a leading indigenous engineering and road construction firm with over 30 years of experience, has strongly denied recent allegations circulating on social media that it delivered substandard work on the Kagarko Township Road project.

The company, which executed the road project under contract with the Kaduna State Government, affirmed that the road was completed in full compliance with international standards and best engineering practices.

The controversy was sparked by social media posts from Abdulrasheed Tafarki, a resident of Kagarko Local Government Area, along with Edward John Fama and Imran U. Wakili (Pullo).

The trio claimed that the newly commissioned road had failed just three days after its official inauguration.

The posts, which quickly went viral on Facebook, included images that Farmtrac has described as “misleading and malicious.”

In an official statement signed by the company’s Managing Director, Engr. Abubakar Sadiq, Farmtrac clarified that the issue raised in the viral posts pertains to a culvert shoulder located outside the scope of its contractual responsibilities.

“We categorically deny the allegation that our road project failed. The road remains intact and of high quality,” the statement read.

“The section depicted in the viral post involves infrastructure not handled by Farmtrac Nigeria Limited. Any insinuation to the contrary is both false and defamatory.”

Farmtrac is now demanding a full retraction and public apology from Abdulrasheed Tafarki, Edward John Fama, and Imran U. Wakili (Pullo).

The company has issued a 24-hour ultimatum, warning that failure to comply will result in legal action.

“We demand that they withdraw their statements and publish a public apology in two national newspapers. If this is not done within the stipulated timeframe, we shall be left with no option but to initiate legal proceedings to protect our corporate integrity,” the statement added.

The company further reaffirmed its commitment to quality, transparency, and professionalism, noting that its record of infrastructure delivery across Nigeria stands as proof of its longstanding reputation.

“We stand firmly by our work and will continue to defend our name against false and damaging narratives,” the statement concluded.
