The Kano State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa, has been honoured with an Icon of Humanitarian Service and Societal Development Award by the Arewa Female Students Association (AFSA).
The award was presented in recognition of Musa’s outstanding contributions to the welfare of civil servants and his commitment to public service excellence in Kano State.

Speaking at the presentation, AFSA Chairperson, Rafi’a Abdullahi Hassan, commended Musa for his consistent display of discipline, accountability, and moral integrity—qualities that have earned him widespread respect and trust across the state.
“His exemplary leadership continues to inspire young people and transform the civil service landscape in Kano State,” she stated.
The award was received on behalf of the Head of Service by Alhaji Salisu Mustapha, Permanent Secretary of the Establishment Directorate. In his remarks, Mustapha expressed appreciation for the honour and assured that the recognition would be duly conveyed to Alhaji Musa.
“This award affirms the Head of Service’s tireless dedication to uplifting civil servants and serving the public with integrity,” Mustapha noted.
As Head of Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa has championed reforms centered on discipline, diligence, and the pursuit of excellence within the civil service.
