The ongoing efforts of the Kano State government KNSG towards ensuring adequate water supply to the State had been commended.
The Chairman House Committee on Water Resources of the State House of Assembly and member representing Albasu Constituency, Alhaji Musa Tahir Hungu stated this in Kano.

According to him,the committee visited some water treatment centers across the State to ascertain the level of their performances.

The lawmaker stressed that the visit paved way for the committee to asses and identify the needs of the treatment centers as well as their daily capacities.
He highlighted very soon the State government would address the issue of water scarcity and called on the staff managing the treatment plants to be steadfast in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Alhaji Musa assured the public that the committee would continue to work round the clock to ensure that water scarcity in Kano state becomes history.
He called on the people of the State to rally raroundthe present administration for the execution of more meaningful projects across the State.
