The Kano state government has reopened the Nuhu Bammali Maternity Hospital in Kofar Nassarawa area, Municipal local government, after completing its renovation.
This move aims to provide adequate facilities for pregnant women and children’s immunization.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf emphasized the hospital’s importance in caring for the health of pregnant women and children.
The hospital has been equipped with, Enough beds for admitting patients,Lights and air conditioners in patient rooms and offices,improved infrastructure for better healthcare services.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf urged the hospital staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
The Kano state government has also awarded contracts to renovate all maternity and general hospitals in the 44 local governments across the state.
Key Attendees at the Commissioning includes the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, Chief of Staff of the State Government House, Alhaji Shehu Wada Sagagi, State Commissioner of Health Alhaji Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, Chairmen of Municipal and local governments in Nassarawa local government area.
This development is part of the state government’s efforts to improve healthcare services, particularly for maternal and child health.
