Governor,Comrade Nasir Idris, Kebbi State has commended Alhaji Faruk Musa Yaro (Enabo), Chairman of the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, for organising the largest empowerment programme in the history of the state.

According to him, the foundation has distributed 50 cars, 100 motorcycles, 50 water pumps, 5,000 bags of assorted grains, sports jerseys, and cash assistance totalling ₦250 million.
The Governor added that, democracy is about empowering the people and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to rolling out multiple empowerment programmes, especially for women, youths, and farmers through free fertilizer and agricultural inputs.

In his remark, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, equally praised Enabo Foundation and urged other stakeholders to replicate such gestures in their wards.
Also speaking the Governor’s wives, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Idris and Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris, also applauded Enabo’s benevolence, particularly to women and donated cash, clothing, and ₦10 million to women’s groups in Marafa Ward.
In his remarks, the Chairman Enabo Foundation Alhaji Faruk Musa Yaro said the inspiration for the empowerment programme came from both Senator Bagudu and Governor Idris.
He pledged to sustain people-centered initiatives, stressing that true politics is about winning hearts through positive impact, not acrimony.

The initiative, organised under the Alhaji Faruk Enabo Foundation, has already benefited over 10,000 people in Marafa Ward of Birnin Kebbi Local Government.

Governor Idris lauded Enabo for remembering All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters and urged politicians and public office holders to emulate his example.
According to him, the foundation distributed 50 cars, 100 motorcycles, 50 water pumps, 5,000 bags of assorted grains, sports jerseys, and cash assistance amounting to ₦250 million.
