The Directorate of Security table tennis team has emerged victorious in the Northwest University Kano’s inter-staff games, defeating the Registry team 2-0.

The competition, held at the university’s premises, aimed to promote staff fitness, health, and productivity. Vice Chancellor Professor Muktar Atiku Kurawa praised the event, pledging the university’s continued support for sports development.

In the table tennis final, the Security Directorate took gold, while the Registry secured silver. The Faculty of Science won bronze, defeating the Internal Audit team 3-0.

The university’s spokesperson, Mallam Abubakar Ibrahim, congratulated the winners, urging the losers to improve for future championships.
Munir Balarabe presented medals to the winners, commending the sports directorate’s commitment to developing university sports.
