President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday arrived in Lagos for a working visit as Nigeria prepares to mark its 65th Independence Anniversary in a low-key celebration.
The President had earlier attended the coronation of His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Ibadan, Oyo State, before moving to Lagos.
While in Lagos, President Tinubu is expected to hold strategic meetings with key players in Nigeria’s private sector as well as senior government officials.
On Tuesday, September 30, the President will travel to Imo State to commission projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
As part of the Independence Anniversary activities, President Tinubu will also commission the remodelled National Theatre in Lagos, now renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, in honour of the Nobel Laureate.
