The newly posted Permanent Secretary at the Bauchi State Ministry of Education, Ahmed Ibrahim, has officially assumed duty, pledging to bring professionalism and renewed commitment to the state’s education sector.
Ahmed Ibrahim arrived at the ministry accompanied by the management of the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Board, led by its Executive Chairman, Rilwan Mohamed.
Speaking during a brief reception held in his honour, Dr. Mohamed described the appointment as timely and beneficial to the education sector, noting that the new Permanent Secretary is a seasoned administrator with a proven track record in public service. He commended Ibrahim’s dedication and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver in his new role.
In his remarks, Ibrahim expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to serve, assuring stakeholders of his commitment to duty. He pledged to discharge his responsibilities with loyalty, diligence, and a focus on improving educational standards across the state.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Education, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, welcomed the new Permanent Secretary and highlighted the importance of the ministry to the present administration. He noted that Ibrahim brings a wealth of experience that will contribute significantly to ongoing efforts to strengthen the education system.
The Commissioner further emphasized the state government’s sustained commitment to education, adding that the Governor has consistently supported policies and programmes aimed at advancing the sector. He assured the new Permanent Secretary of the ministry’s full cooperation in achieving its goals.
