The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has secured a bench warrant against Jubrin Buba, a staff member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), for failing to appear in court.

Buba is facing a six-count charge of forgery and false statements, specifically for presenting a fake Bachelor’s degree certificate in Public Administration, allegedly issued by the University of Jos, to secure his job at the NSCDC in 2015 .
