At least four passengers lost their lives, while 12 others sustained injuries in a fatal motor accident near Busuku village in Kirikasamma local Government, Jigawa state.

The Incident occurred while the victims were travelling to a wedding ceremony in Saleri village, located in Kirikasamma Local Government Area.

Chairman of Kirikasamma LGA, Muhammad Maji Wakili Marma, confirmed the accident.
He, however, visited Busuku to condole the families of the deceased, expressing sympathy over their untimely loss.
Similarly, the Member representing Kirikasamma, Birniwa, and Guri Federal Constituency, Honorable Abubakar Fulata, also paid condolence visits to the bereaved families.
He prayed for the departed souls and urged the families to remain strong in the face of their irreparable loss.
Jigawa Communal Clash: Death Toll Rises to 9, 4 Hospitalized
The four deceased passengers, all natives of Busuku, were laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.

Meanwhile, 10 of the 12 injured victims are receiving treatment at Hadejia General Hospital, while the two others with severe injuries have been transferred to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital for specialized medical care.
