Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has adopted 95 orphans, taking full responsibility for their well-being and development.
This compassionate move was announced during a special lunch with the children at the state’s orphanage home, marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.
Governor Yusuf assured the children of his commitment to providing quality education from primary to tertiary levels, healthcare services, nutritious food, and other essential social needs throughout his tenure.
He emphasized that the orphans will be treated with dignity and care, empowering them to reach their full potential. “You are now my children, I will take care of you as my own, you will begin to feel the good side of life,” the Governor assured.
The adopted orphans will now have access to quality education, healthcare services, nutritious food, and social support. This comprehensive care aims to empower them to reach their full potential.
In addition to adopting the orphans, Governor Yusuf donated food items worth millions of naira for their welfare, safety, and food security. This gesture demonstrates his administration’s dedication to social welfare.
