With the recent pronouncement of a new minimum wage by the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Umar Namadi Danmodi, workers in the local government areas have been urged to redouble efforts for better productivity and development
The call was made by the House leader of Roni Local Government Area Hon Muhd Abba Roni who is also the Chairman of the Councillors’ Forum of Jigawa State while fielding questions from Journalists
Hon Muhd Abba Roni said such a gesture by the State Governor, His Excellency Umar Namadi Danmodi, is a clear testimony for the entire working force to brace up and be steadfast in the discharge of their responsibility for the betterment of the State.
He emphasized the exceptional role of the working force in the daily routine of local government administration, where he advised them to be up and doing at all times.
Muhd Abba Roni then commended the visionary leadership style of the State Governor, describing him as best among equals, assuring the Governor of the total support of the people of Roni Local Government Area on all matters related to the advancement of the State.
