The Commissioner of Police in Adamawa State, CP Dankombo Morris, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to recognizing and rewarding officers who demonstrate dedication, professionalism, and excellence in service.
CP Morris made the remark over the weekend in Yola while presenting a merit award to Chief Superintendent of Police, Ahmed Rasheed.
The Commissioner described the award as well-deserved, commending CSP Rasheed for his exceptional professionalism and dedication in his role as Commander of CTU 14 Base in Adamawa State.
He noted that CSP Rasheed’s recognition as “Commander of the Year” reflects his hard work, discipline, and deep understanding of police operations, adding that the honour serves as a testament to his commitment to duty.
CP Morris emphasized that the State Command has adopted a deliberate policy of identifying and rewarding deserving officers across all ranks, noting that such recognition serves as motivation for personnel to improve performance and uphold the core values of the Force.
He congratulated CSP Rasheed on the achievement and urged him to sustain the virtues that earned him the award, encouraging him to remain a role model and inspiration to other officers within the Command.
