- The Commissioner of Police in Kano State, CP Salman Dogo Garba, recently received a courtesy visit from Brigadier General AM Tukur, Commander of the 3 Brigade, Nigerian Army, at the Command’s Headquarters in Bompai, Kano.
This visit aimed to strengthen the existing cordial relationship between the Police Command and the Nigerian Army.

Consolidating Relationship: Brigadier General Tukur expressed his desire to build on the already established relationship between the two security agencies.

Inter-Agency Collaboration: Both leaders emphasized the need for security agencies to work together to ensure a safer and more secure Kano State.

This development is particularly significant in light of Kano State’s efforts to address security concerns and protect vulnerable populations, such as out-of-school children .
The state government has been working to domesticate the Child Rights Act and establish special schools for orphans and less privileged children
