The recent distribution of federal government rice palliatives in Kano State, led by Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin Maliya, has brought relief and happiness to the people.

The palliatives arrived at a critical time when many were struggling to access daily food.
According to Senior Legislative Aide Alhaji Mansur Ibrahim Maiganji, Kano State was chosen for the palliative distribution due to its strategic importance in the North West geopolitical zone.

He said the program aimed to support all categories of people, regardless of political or religious affiliations.
Mansur noted that, the distribution exercise was carried out successfully, with beneficiaries expressing gratitude to the federal government and Deputy Senate President for the judicious management and distribution of the rice palliatives.
Alhaji Mansur assured that such gestures would continue, with Senator Barau Jibrin committed to bringing succour to the people of Kano State and the nation.
