The Principal of Government Girls Secondary School Dutsinma, Katsina State, Hajiya Umma Tukur, urged the graduates of the 2024 Academic Session to be good ambassadors of their respective schools and immediate communities.
She made the call during the Annual graduation and prize-giving ceremony of the 23 students who graduated and memorized the Qur’an.
Hajiya Umma Tukur congratulated the graduates and advised them to utilize the knowledge they have acquired during their time at the school for the benefit of their future life.
She also stated roles of moral standards of education as well as quality teaching and learning in shaping the behaviors of the younger generation and commended the efforts of staff of the school for their efforts towards facilitating effective teaching and learning.
The Principal also urged the parents to ensure that, they are monitoring the activities of their children during holiday and when they are in schools to compliment governments and teachers efforts towards inculcating moral behaviours to the students.
According to her, Governor Dikko Radsa’s administration is making frantic efforts to enable children have access to quality education at all levels which will reduce drastically the number of out of school children.
Some of the students commended the efforts of their teachers and parents whose strategize efforts to ensure that, they become productive and useful members of their respective communities.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of prices, gifts, awards and also attracted dignitaries form well wishers, family members and Friends to encourage students upon completion of their academic session to further their studies.
