Kano State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Haruna Isa Dederi, has inspected the newly completed office of the Special Adviser to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on Justice, Barrister Aminu Hussain.
He described the project as a major step toward reforming the state’s justice sector.

During the inspection, Dederi commended the quality of the facility, saying it would provide a conducive working environment for the adviser and his team to deliver on their mandate of promoting justice and fairness in the state.
The commissioner, who was accompanied by the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Barrister Mustapha Nurudeen Muhammad, also visited other sites to assess their suitability for additional offices.
He said the initiative was part of ongoing efforts to address the shortage of office spaces within the Ministry of Justice, in line with Governor Yusuf’s vision of strengthening institutions and creating a more efficient civil service.

Dederi also applauded the governor for what he described as a firm commitment to justice sector reform, citing recent staff recruitment and welfare improvements as proof of the administration’s people-focused agenda.
He urged staff of the ministry to remain dedicated to their duties and to continue supporting government policies, assuring them of the administration’s resolve to uphold justice, fairness, and the overall progress of Kano State.
