The All Care Charitable Foundation (ACCF) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening child protection systems in Kano State as a member of the newly established Consortium on Child Protection.
According to the organization, it is fully prepared to contribute its expertise and resources toward ensuring the effective implementation of the Kano State Child Protection Law, aimed at safeguarding the rights and well-being of children across the state.
ACCF noted that public awareness remains a critical part of the process and pledged to intensify sensitization efforts among community members, stakeholders, and institutions to promote a deeper understanding of the law and its long-term benefits for children.
The Consortium held its first engagement on 26 October 2025, bringing together member organizations and key stakeholders.
During the meeting, participants collectively called on the Kano State Government to urgently inaugurate the already established Child Protection Implementation Committee.
They emphasized that activating the committee is essential for achieving full and effective execution of the Child Protection Law throughout the state.
The consortium members reiterated their commitment to collaboration, advocacy, and sustained action to ensure that every child in Kano State is protected, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.
