The Executive Chairman of the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Malam Yusuf Kabir, has conducted an on-the-spot assessment of ongoing general school renovation projects across selected local government areas of the state.
The monitoring exercise covered Kura, Garun Malam and Kiru Local Government Areas, with the aim of assessing the level of work done, ensuring quality assurance, and confirming compliance with approved standards and timelines.
During the inspection, Malam Yusuf Kabir expressed satisfaction with the progress of work at several schools, commending contractors for timely delivery and adherence to quality specifications.
He specifically praised the renovation projects at Gundutse Chiki Primary School in Kura Local Government Area, as well as Dumaji Yadakwari Primary School, Saulawa Primary School and Dakasoye Primary School in Garun Malam Local Government Area.
The SUBEB Chairman also visited Rigimawa Primary School in Dorawar Sallau town, Garun Malam Local Government Area, where he urged the contractor handling the project to accelerate work to enable pupils to continue their studies in a safe and conducive environment.
