The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Jibril Ismail Falgore, has expressed shock and sympathy over the tragic accident that occurred in Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State.
In a statement released on Monday by the Speaker’s spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, Falgore described the fatal incident in Kwanar Barde as a significant loss, not only to the affected families but to the people of Kano State at large.
He further commended the swift action of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, who ordered free medical care for the survivors. Falgore described this gesture as a demonstration of good leadership rooted in social justice, fairness, and public service. “This timely response is indeed highly commendable,” the statement added.
Speaking on behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, Falgore extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the Kano State government, and the people of Kano. He prayed, “May Allah forgive the shortcomings of our departed brothers and sisters and grant them eternal rest.”
