The nominations come amid efforts to fill vacancies in the state executive council following the resignation of several commissioners after Governor Yusuf’s defection from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as the removal of another commissioner from office.
The appointments, if confirmed, are expected to strengthen the state government’s executive team and support the implementation of its policies and programmes.
