Seventy-one information officers across MDAs have been successfully cleared for Direct Membership into the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), according to an official notification from the relevant ministry.
The announcement comes ahead of a formal Induction Ceremony scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Tahir Guest Palace, Kano, by 9:00 AM prompt.

According to the notice, attendance is strictly mandatory for all successful applicants, as the event will serve as their official entry into the professional body. Inductees are expected to wear ceremonial gowns, which will be provided at the venue and returned immediately after the ceremony.
The induction marks a significant milestone for the candidates, who have fulfilled the institute’s requirements for direct entry based on professional merit and experience.
Meanwhile, the ministry noted that applicants who were not included in the current list will be required to participate in mandatory Master Classes, with details to be announced at a later date.
The 72 successful inductees include professionals from various sectors, signaling a growing commitment to ethical and professional public relations practice in Nigeria.
