Kano State House house of Assembly KNHA has passed the State Center for Disease control and Prevention Bill KNCDC 2024.
This was sequel to deliberations during plenary presided over by the speaker Alhaji Jibril Isma’il Falgore.

The bill sponsored by member representing Dala constituency Alhaji Lawan Hussaini Dala was considered in the committee of the whole house and third reading by the clerk Alhaji Bashir Idris Diso.
After careful deliberations the house unanimously adopted and passed the Kano state center for disease control and prevention bill 2024.
In another development KNHA has called on Kano state government to to complete electrification of Nata’ala and Jili town in Tudun Wada local government area.

Mover of the motion, member representing Tudun Wada Alhaji Sule Lawan pointed out that lack of electricity in the two communities poses as a major set back to economic activities.
He stressed that,electric poles and wiring was provided but up to date there’s no supply of electricity.
Sule appealed to the lawmakers to support the motion a it would go a long way in reducing unemployment, boost the economy and reduce hardship.
Seconding the motion member representing Karaye Ibrahim Ahmed Karaye explained that the importance of electricity to communities cannot be over emphasized.
The house has also passed a motion seeking for the construction of road from Dunawa-Gatsika-Tsallaka-Bekawa-Kore-Yammawar Wamzamai-Yammawar Ganji-Tsamiyar Boma in Makoda local government area,sponsored by Muhammad Ahmad Tomas.

The house adjourned it’s sitting to Monday 29th April in a motion moved by the majority leader Lawan Hussaini Dala.
