The Provost of Yusuf Maitama Sule College of Education and Advanced Studies, Ghari, Associate Professor Abdullahi Asiru, has congratulated Professor Sani Lawan Malumfashi on his appointment as Kano State Commissioner for Higher Education.
In a congratulatory message signed by the College’s Senior Information Officer, Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, Associate Professor Asiru said the management, staff and students of the institution were delighted with the appointment, considering Professor Malumfashi’s outstanding track record and immense contributions to educational development in Kano State and Nigeria.

He commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for finding Professor Malumfashi worthy of the appointment, describing it as timely and well-deserved.

The Provost expressed confidence that the new Commissioner would bring his wealth of experience and expertise to bear on the development of the higher education sector in the state.
