As the elders say, integrity, humility, selflessness and hard work can lead a person to success in life. These qualities perfectly describe what I have observed in the life of Sunusi Bature.
Throughout the years we have spent together, I have always felt a deep sense of joy in relating closely with Sunusi. Our paths have crossed through professional engagements at different times and in different places.

I have keenly followed his journey and witnessed his steady rise from one level to another. Indeed, journalism played a significant role in shaping his career and future development.
Since his appointment as Spokesperson to His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and subsequently as Director-General, Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kano State, Sunusi Bature has continued to demonstrate competence, professionalism and mastery of public engagement.
His resilience, humility and loyalty, not only to the Governor but also to everyone he interacts with, have earned him greater respect among his associates and professional colleagues.
We continue to follow his work, which brings us great joy. He continues to inspire us and demonstrate that the light of hard work and perseverance can shine even brighter into the future, by the grace of Allah.
I am highly impressed and proud of you as a friend, brother and professional colleague in the fields of media broadcasting, human relations, communication strategy, leadership and management.
Sunusi is clearly demonstrating how a young and promising journalist can eventually become a role model to many. Dawakin Tofa has also shown how someone who started from humble beginnings can rise to become an accomplished communication strategist.

Furthermore, the people of Dawakin Tofa are immensely proud of his steady rise, generosity and other admirable virtues.
We are living witnesses, as his brothers and colleagues, to his successful career journey, from Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Governor, to Director-General, Media and Publicity, and now Commissioner and Member of the Kano State Executive Council.
