Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State says the present administration has put the state on a foundation of economic recovery and prosperity in the last one year.
The Governor stated this in his speech to the people of the state to mark one year in office.

He said, one year ago he took the oath of office as Governor of Jigawa State, and today, they are celebrating a year of selfless service filled with significant strides.
Malam Umar Namadi further explained that, in the last year, the present administration has touched the lives of thousands of individuals through their economic empowerment initiatives, recruitment drives and health care insurance initiatives.
Others also include increased food security with agricultural projects as well as infrastructural development.He said these accomplishments stand as a testament to their dedication to the welfare of the people of the state.
“I extend my gratitude to state executive council members, members of the state assembly, judiciary, political office holders as well as staff in the government house”
According to him, as they reflect on these achievements, they pledge to continue to serve their beloved state and its people with dedication and selflessness.
“Let us continue our teamwork and collaborative efforts towards a brighter tomorrow for Jigawa”
Namadi thanked development partners, traditional and religious leaders, civil society organizations and people of the state for their unwavering support.
