This festive period is a time for reflection, unity, and joy. We therefore urge all citizens—especially the youth—to uphold peace, tolerance, and mutual respect throughout this period.
Kano State is known for its rich culture, hospitality, and peaceful coexistence, and we must all work to protect and preserve that legacy.
We strongly call on the youth not to allow themselves to be used by any individual or group to instigate violence or unrest before, during, or after the Sallah festivities. Let us remember that the future of Kano rests on our shoulders, and peace is the foundation upon which progress is built.
