The Emir of Gaya, Alhaji Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, has donated three million naira to the victims of mosque explosion at Gadan village Larabar Abasawa Gezawa local government area Kano
The donation was received during a visit to the victims who are currently receiving treatment at Murtala Muhammad Specialist hospital Kano.
Dr Aliyu Ibrahim expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the victims and their families, offering words of comfort and support.
The Emir’s visit served as a gesture of solidarity and compassion towards those affected by the tragic incident.
He emphasized the need for unity and support within the community, urging for continued efforts to provide aid and assistance to those in need.
“Our thoughts and prayers remain with the victims and their families as they undergo treatment and recovery”
Dr Aliyu Ibrahim assured that Gaya emirate would provide all the necessary support to ensure their quick recovery.
The District Head Of Gezawa Mai Unguwar Mundubawa, Alhaji Mahmoud Aminu commended the Emir for his compassionate gesture and unwavering support for those affected by the unfortunate incident.
Also Speaking Gezawa Local Government Caretaker Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Bashir Tanko said out of the twenty Five Victims , thirteen people lost their lives,while twelve are currently receiving medical attention at Murtala Muhammad Special hospital.
He urged residents of the area to be security conscious adding that the council would immediately commence renovation of the Mosque.
