    Anniversary: BGB Progressives Congratulates Jigawa Gov. Namadi

    The Birnin Kudu-Gwaram-Buji Progressives (BGB) extend their heartfelt congratulations to Governor Umar Namadi, on his first-year anniversary in office.

    According to a statement signed by BGB, this milestone is a testament to his dedicated leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of Jigawa.

    It explained that, over the past year, Governor Namadi has demonstrated exceptional vision and resilience, bringing significant advancements in both infrastructure and human capital development.

    “These achievements have profoundly impacted our locality and the state at large, fostering growth and enhancing the quality of life for all citizens”

    “As we mark the one-year anniversary of Governor Namadi’s administration, we celebrate a year filled with remarkable progress and transformative achievements”

    The statement pointed out that,the Governor’s commitment to infrastructure development and human capital growth has laid a strong foundation for the continued prosperity of the state.

    BGB highhighlight key accomplishments of Governor Namadi such as Continuation of the 63 km Gwaram-Basirka Road, Upgrade and Rehabilitation of the 47 km BKD-KYW Road, Construction of the 47 km Girimbo-Gantsa-Sara Road, Basirka Township Road, Bridges, Culverts, and Erosion Control implemented in Sara, Farin Dutse, Jingino, Gwaram, and Kila;

    Others are Completion and Commissioning of Gwaram General Hospital. Construction of 100 Housing Units in Birninkuduin addressing the housing needs of our growing population, and Supply of Facilities to Gantsa General Hospital.

    “Governor Namadi’s administration has made significant strides in empowering our youth and supporting the agricultural sector, ensuring sustainable development and improved livelihoods. Key initiatives include”

    “In Birninkudu Local Government Area, over 109 Youths are employed as Permanent Classroom Teachers and 78 Youths under J-Health. Distribution of farm inputs to wheat farmers and shortlisting over 70 youths as extension workers under J-Agro”

    “In Gwaram Local Government Area, we acknowledged the Employment of 115 Youths as Classroom Teachers under J-Teach as well as agricultural Interventions and Procurement of Tractors for Local Governments to boost agricultural productivity”

    “In Buji Local Government Area, about 116 youths are engaged as Primary School Teachers and 21 youth are employed as Health Workers, ensuring quality education and healthcare services. The distribution of Empowerment Package to 450 Youths is also commendable”

    “The BGB-Progressives commend Governor Namadi for his visionary leadership and steadfast dedication to the progress of our state. We are confident that the state will continue to thrive and achieve greater heights under his guidance.
