The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kebbi State has commenced the second phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, calling on eligible citizens to register and collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).
The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Kebbi State, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Pawa Dambo, made the call while addressing stakeholders at the INEC State Office in Birnin Kebbi.
Dambo stressed that voter registration and PVC collection are critical to the success of the exercise, describing the PVC as the only legal instrument that qualifies citizens to vote in any election.
