The Management Board of Kano Pillars has apologized to the Executive and members of Kano State chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN.
This was sequel to a misunderstanding between a senior Swan national officer and the Club’s Technical Crew head which led to the boycott of coverage of all the club’s activities.
In a statement by the Media Officer of Kano Pillars football club Sharif Zahradeen Usman Kofar Nasarawa and made available to newsmen in Kano.
He explained that the club sincerely regretted the unfortunate incident which led to misunderstanding between the two parties .
The statement described Swan members and Kano Pillars Management as one family working together for over three decades towards uplifting the club to international standard.
The Pillars management therefore appealed to Swan to sheath their sword and work together with officials and players of the Sai Masu Gida team towards achieving a common goal of winning the 2023/2024 season Premier League Competition.
The statement reiterated the commitment of Kano Pillars management to continue working with sports journalists in Kano to move the club forward.
